Off the Top Analytics
Looking at having consistent looks at the blog posting trends for the Off the Top blog on vanderwal.net I have a data output workflow using Python. This workflow now puts the site's data into SQLite and I have converters built with Python to create JSON. From there I have use some assistance to create a quite a few data visualization outputs using (mostly) D3. This gives me a relatively quick way to test different data visualizations and pairings to help see trends and patterns. Much of this is for curiosity, but also helpful to see the reality around hunches.
Data Visualizations for August & September 2026
There are currently three charts I can crank out through rerunning a Python script to create stand alone data viz web pages.

Personal InfoCloud Analytics
I've been pulling the data for Personal InfoCloud in the same way and converting from WordPress database to a local SQLite database for quick data analysis and analytics. I haven't posted there since April 2026 but have quite a post queued up to get finished, edited and posted there.
